The Pinhalense DEPOS Coffee Huller & Polisher is a high-capacity machine designed to perform coffee hulling and polishing in a single integrated process. It efficiently removes the parchment layer from dried coffee beans while simultaneously improving the appearance and quality of the green coffee.

Using controlled friction between the beans and the ridged metallic surfaces inside the machine, the DEPOS system separates the parchment and polishes the beans to produce a smooth, uniform, and visually attractive final product.

The system is widely used in commercial coffee processing plants and export facilities where consistent bean quality and high throughput are essential.

How the System Works

Coffee Feeding

Coffee enters through the main inlet hopper, where a load regulation gate ensures a steady and uniform feed rate into the machine.

Hulling Process

In the first octagonal module, friction between the coffee beans and the ridged cylinder breaks the parchment layer, separating the beans from the husk.

Repass System

Partially processed beans are lifted through a repass elevator and returned into the secondary inlet hopper for additional processing.

Polishing Process

In the second octagonal module, the beans undergo polishing. Pressure and counterweight adjustments control the level of polish applied to the coffee.

Dust & Husk Removal

An integrated aspiration system removes husks and dust generated during processing while also helping cool the beans.
